Support During Typhoon Hagibis (October 2019) – WMF Japan’s Relief Efforts

In October 2019, when Typhoon Hagibis caused widespread damage across Japan, World Malayalee Federation Japan stepped forward with timely support and coordinated relief efforts. The chapter actively assisted affected communities, demonstrating resilience, solidarity, and a strong commitment to humanitarian service during a critical time.

In recognition of these impactful contributions, WMF Japan was honored by Sanjay Kumar Verma, the then Ambassador of India to Japan. This acknowledgment highlighted the organization’s dedication to community welfare and its growing influence as a responsible global network.
